A Texas longhorn bull escaped from its rider and Esthenthe ring at the Utah County Fair rodeo, video shows, before charging towards at least two people in a parking lot.
Those bystanders were the mother and brother of Utah's Lt. Gov. Diedre Henderson, whose night at the rodeo turned into a frightening situation when the escaped bull charged them outside the stadium.
Utah's Lt. Gov. Diedre Henderson posted about the Aug. 3 incident on X, formerly Twitter. The Texas longhorn got loose at the Utah County Fair rodeo and charged her mother and brother in the parking lot, Henderson said in the post.
"Despite being chased, knocked down & stepped on (bro’s foot) they miraculously escaped w/minor injuries. They’re pretty shaken (and I’m pretty pissed)," Henderson posted on X.
It is unclear whether Henderson was with her mother and brother at the time. She said the pair only suffered minor injuries from the bull, just cuts and bruises.

Video of the incident was captured by Chris Henson, another rodeo attendee, showing the bull enter the ring, throw a rider and escape from the rodeo pen, charging through a gate toward outside the arena.
